Friar Tuck

Does anyone have any info on this car or it's owner? Larry Watson is said to have painted it in the mid 60's and was believed to have been owned by a dude known as "Friar Tuck". His last named was Henderson (?) and was a member of the Chancellors(?). The car was a main attraction on Van Nuys Blvd in the mid to late 60's and possibly elsewhere. You can email any info to bob_o. Thanks!

The Art and Photography of Greg 'cixpack' Leterrier

Greg is a true artiste, in every sense of the word. Even just a casual look at his work speaks volumes about his skills, abilities and his sheer love of creating. His sense of style and eye for detail are impeccable. The scope of his work is equally as impressive. Everything from graffiti, cars, landscapes, concept aircraft and even gigantic robots! Working in several media types (including a Nintendo DS!), Greg's style varies incredibly. From still life, impressionism, surrealism and illustration, to forms that I will not even attempt to name. Let's just call it "Progressive." For the last couple of years, I have seen his stuff pop up on the internet and felt a mixture of awe, amusement and wonder as I stared at the bitchin' art this guy produces.

Quite a few of us finally got a chance to meet and chill with Greg when he made the trip out from his home in Paris, France to attend West Coast Kustom's "Cruisin' Nationals" this past May. And I can say with all sincerity that along with being a true artiste, Greg is one helluva cool dude! The highlight of my weekend was Flatbroke Alex taking Eryk, Harry, Greg and myself for a cruise in his beautiful '60 Olds. EPIC.

With all of the words out of the way, I'll let some of my personal favorites of his visual candy do the rest of the talkin'! Make sure to click on the photo's so you can check out all of the great details!

Cruising the Desert, AZ/SC style.

Yet another bitchin' video, courtesy of LBCC Prospect, Mr. Alex "Flatbroke" Rosen.

For those of you who don't know, Alex has been cruising his beautiful, Gary Seeds' painted 1960 Oldsmobile across the United States. Starting at his home in Charleston, South Carolina, Alex has been keeping us updated with great stories and terrific photography. You can follow his epic journey here. The latest leg of his adventure put him in Arizona where he met up with a group of local heroes. Freddie and the Piewagon then took him on a cruise of the scenic route through his stomping grounds, where this video was shot.

Alex and his Olds will be hitting the streets again in a couple of weeks as he joins the LBCC AZ crew for their trip out to the West Coast Kustom's 2012 Cruisin' Nats in Santa Maria, CA! Stay tuned...
