Japan FTMFW

Japanese built American domestics are absolutely breathtaking and mesmerizing at the same time. They just seem to nail it with every car that they produce. Stance, paint, wheel and tire combos, everything about them is pure eye candy, and pretty much perfect. Heavily influenced by 60's and 70's southern Cali style, Car clubs like Stongers CC, Cholos, Forever Classics, Old School CC and Killers are building some badass lowrides in the far eastern land of the juiced rising sun coloured metalflake hooptie. The attention to detail they add, and how they design a car that follows tradition but is not bound by it amazes me.

An LBCC board member named Kotalow from Japan summed it up well when asked about how they do it and what inspires them: "Learn from tradition make a new style". I love the fact that they are not worried about right vs. wrong and simply build any car as they see fit. Thats the way to do it if you want to reach your own personal Zen of automobile customizing. A majority of cars built over there are constantly under construction and undergoing changes all the time. It's not uncommon to see cars with primer spots where door handles should be still crusing... Check out my little photo collection, try not to drool all over yourself...
